The Eldin Ring contains many new poisons and blights. It can be very confusing to know what to do when you get close to each one. You may seem fine for a moment, but suddenly a beast appears and you die from the strange substance floating in the air. These blights can be avoided, no matter how severe they are.

Wearing the Clarifying Horn Charm and Mottled Necklace, as well as the Immunizing Horn Charm and Mind attribute points will help you avoid Madness in Elden Ring. These will increase your immunity to Madness but you are not immune.

Remember that Poison or Blights can kill you regardless of what you do. It is up to you to find ways to avoid them. This list will increase your immunity to Madness, as well as all other Poisons or Blights you may come across.

How to Avoid Madness in Elden Ring

There is no way to escape Madness except from not being near areas with it. The Flame Frenzied Village is an area where you can find Madness. If you approach it, a huge eye will be looking at you. You can hide with the eye if you go near the area. This is the only area that has Madness. However, there are enemies who will give it later. The eye can be eliminated by climbing the tower, but it’s difficult to do so without immunity. In case you’re wondering, there are several ways to immunize yourself against Madness and other annoying Blights.

These are the main ways to avoid Madness within Elden Ring:

The Clarifying Horn Charm can be purchased

Location Found on a body lying on the steps leading to the Deep Siofra Well lift. The upgraded version (+1) can be found on a corpse at the bottom floor of ruin in Nokron (Eternal City). The player can use it to increase their focus to resist Madness and Sleep. This is not a great Talisman. However, it does give you immunity to only 2 things. It is worth using if it is all you have. Although the Mottled Necklace provides better immunity for all purposes, it is superior for sleeping and madness. You decide what to use.

The Mottled Necklace is now available

Location Located at the edge of the ruined bridge that leads to Nokron (Eternal City). You can access this area via the Waygate at The Four Belfries. You can find the +1 Version on a corpse atop some ruined arches that overlook Hallowhorn Grounds, Nokron in Eternal City. The player can use it to increase their strength, immunity, and focus. Because of all it does, this is the best immunity Talisman that you can obtain. It is more effective than any Charm in this list and covers almost every Poison or Blight. This Charm is truly all-around great. It’s amazing.

The Immunizing Horn Charm can be used to strengthen your immune system

Location Found in the ant nest of Ainsel River on one corpse. The Lake of Rot has the +1 variant. It is obtained by killing the Ancestral follower South East of Lake of Rot Shore Grace. The player can use it to increase their Immunity to resist various poisons and other blights like Scarlet Rot and Madness. The +1 version gives you more immunity to all things. We recommend it highly. It’s easy to find, so why not go for the best version? Although the Lake of Rot can be annoying, it is worth having more immunity.

Your Mind Attributes can be improved

Mind, which is the main attribute that influences FP, is identical to Mana or MP in other titles. The larger a character’s Mind pool is, the more spells they are able to cast before needing to recharge. It also affects the Focus Body Stat which, in turn, increases a player’s resistance against Sleep and Madness effects. Your immunity to most things will be very low if your Mind attribute is low. The Talismans mentioned above will help you. However, Mind and the Talismans will make your life much easier. If you use a lot of FP, it is worth upgrading Mind. Magic-users will already have their immunity up a bit, and this will make them more resilient to most things. You will struggle to get through Poison areas or the Frenzied Village if you have a low Mind level.
